Nuclear Safety Research Unit
Since year 1975 experimental studies of the nuclear reactor
thermal hydraulics has been carried out at Lappeenranta
University of Technology. Experiments carried out in Nuclear
Safety Research Unit in cooperation with Nuclear Engineering
Laboratory provide data for improving the safety of nuclear
power plants and for code developers to validate
thermal-hydraulic computer codes.
